What happens if you search the internet for technical data, hints on the use of your K60, or information about accessories? It is often time consuming to wade through the thousands of web sites returned, many of them simply directories of auction listings or sites with equipment for sale. Even many sites with useful information require you to wade through multiple pages to get to K60-specific info. Updated August 2006.

This simple directory is my attempt to make the search easier for those seeking Kiev 60 camera content. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

About LENS TESTS

Remember that all lens tests contain varying degrees of subjectivity. Few samples are tested, and great sample variation exists between all Soviet and East German lenses unless they are of very recent production. Most lenses in published tests are used and may have been subject to rough handling or poor maintenance in the past. Keeping this in mind, you may want to test your own lenses, these tests may help inspire you to do so. They did so to me.

Kievaholic Lens Tests - 2 series of tests are available on this page.

Trevor's Pentacon Six Lens Tests - Since the Kiev 6C and the successor Kiev 60 share this mount, these tests are helpful. Recently Expanded

Rick Denney's Lens Tests - How to do it in your own back yard.

I had to get in on the act - Just to see how my Kiev lenses compared to each other. The idea is not to waste film on lenses which may be truly bad.
